Develop the PACT Methodology
At the heart of the project is the creation of the PACT Methodology—an innovative, unified approach that integrates psychoeducation, psychological first aid, and art therapy into a cohesive framework. This methodology is designed to be flexible, culturally sensitive, and easily adaptable across diverse youth populations and settings. Youth workers will be provided with in-depth training and ongoing support, empowering them with the skills and confidence to implement this approach effectively in their daily practice.

2. Promote Early Intervention and Prevention
PACT prioritizes early identification and proactive response to mental health concerns among young people. By developing accessible tools and strategies, the project aims to build resilience and teach healthy coping mechanisms through creative, youth-friendly methods. Special attention is given to the unique challenges faced by vulnerable groups, including young women, displaced youth, and those affected by conflict, ensuring inclusive and responsive support systems.

3. Foster Cross-Sectoral Collaboration and Long-Term Sustainability
Recognizing the importance of a collaborative ecosystem, PACT brings together youth organizations, educational institutions, and mental health professionals to create a holistic and integrated support network. A key outcome is the development of a sustainable e-learning course—Psychoeducation, Psychological First Aid, and Art Therapy—which will remain accessible beyond the project’s duration. Through capacity-building and training at both local and international levels, youth workers and organizations will be equipped to use and disseminate the project’s methodologies for lasting impact.

4. Create and Promote Art Therapy Programs for Youth Workers
Art therapy plays a vital role in the PACT approach. The project will develop and pilot art therapy programs tailored to the specific cultural and contextual needs of young people in each partner country. By advocating for the integration of art-based therapeutic practices into mental health and youth services, PACT seeks to expand the recognition and use of creative tools for emotional expression, trauma recovery, and personal growth.

5. Increase Mental Health Awareness and Education
Through targeted training, workshops, and educational campaigns, PACT aims to increase the capacity of youth workers and educators to recognize and respond to mental health challenges. The project will actively work to break down stigma surrounding mental health, creating more open and supportive environments. It also promotes the inclusion of psychoeducation and mental well-being topics into school and university curricula across all partner countries, fostering a more informed and compassionate generation.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

1.
